Yadi Krisnadi, Chairman and Advisor of Ecobuild Green Building Consultant, was invited to speak at the Seminar on Strengthening Green Transformation and Sustainability in the Construction Services Sector, organized by the Directorate of Partnership and Integration of Infrastructure Development, National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas).
In his presentation, Yadi presented on the implementation of green buildings in encouraging green transformation and sustainability in the construction services sector in Indonesia, with an emphasis on eco-green buildings and energy efficiency strategies as concrete efforts to reduce emissions.
His insights reflect the strategic role of green buildings in encouraging more sustainable construction practices and align with the government’s green and sustainable transformation agenda in various sectors, including the construction services sector, as part of efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and realize low-carbon development. The application of the green building concept is seen as an important instrument in increasing the efficiency of resource use, particularly energy and water, as well as in reducing environmental impacts throughout the life cycle of a building.
