Jakarta – TCC Batavia Tower One has earned the Greenship Existing Building Platinum Certification from the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI), recognizing its commitment to sustainable building operations and environmental performance.
The certificate was presented by Iparman Oesman, Secretary General of the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI), to Berman Surriadi, General Manager of PT Langgeng Gemilang Sejahtera, the building management company of TCC Batavia Tower One.
TCC Batavia Tower One earned 87 points, achieving the highest Greenship Existing Building Platinum rating by meeting all assessment criteria: Appropriate Site Development (ASD), Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC), Water Conservation (WAC), Material Resources and Cycle (MRC), Indoor Health and Comfort (IHC), and Building Environment Management (BEM).
The building’s sustainability initiatives include 45.5% energy savings, 20% water savings, 100 bicycle parking spaces, the use of environmentally preferred materials, and a dedicated maintenance team that oversees ongoing sustainability performance.
As the green building consultant, Ecobuild supported the certification process. Wiza Hidayat, CEO of Ecobuild Green Building Consultant, said the Platinum certification reflects a strong commitment to sustainable building management and demonstrates how existing buildings can contribute to Indonesia’s sustainability goals.
“We hope TCC Batavia Tower One will inspire more building owners and managers to adopt green building practices and create healthier, more sustainable workplaces,” said Wiza.
This achievement further strengthens TCC Batavia Tower One’s commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles while setting a benchmark for sustainable office buildings in Indonesia.
