On 15th January 2025, the School of Business and Management (SBM) Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) held the Avirama Nawasena Awards at Amartha Village, Cilandak, South Jakarta. This event also marked SBM ITB’s 21st anniversary, with the theme “Embracing Diversity in Harmony for a Sustainable Future.” The annual awards recognized innovations in seven categories, including product and service innovation, supply chain, marketing, and social behavior.
Ecobuild Green Building Consultant won the Avirama Nawasena ESG Award 2024 in the “Innovation in Services for Sustainability” category, underscoring the company’s commitment to green building practices in Indonesia. The award was presented by Sonny Rustiadi, Head of the Bachelor of Entrepreneurship at SBM ITB, to Fahmi Adi Cahya, our Managing Director.
The event was attended by Indonesia’s 6th President, Prof. Dr. H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, ITB Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., SBM ITB faculty, alumni, industry partners, and Avirama Nawasena finalists.
During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received the Lifetime Achievement Award and praised the winners as “the real heroes” for their contributions to advancing sustainability efforts.
“The world is facing a major challenge, no longer just climate change, but a climate crisis. Preventive measures must be taken. We must unite, act together, and work to save the world, making Indonesia net-zero emissions,” said Prof. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
As a green building certification company, Ecobuild Green Building Consultant provides technical guidance and strategies for obtaining green certifications such as Greenship, EDGE, BGH, LEED, WELL, Parksmart, Greenmark, as well as educational and research programs related to green buildings. Ecobuild Green Building Consultant is also actively involved in the development of the National Capital City (IKN) and is committed to supporting the government through participation in sustainable projects with the National Capital Authority (OIKN).
Additionally, Ecobuild Green Building Consultant is active in various environmental campaigns, engaging stakeholders through seminars, public discussions, and social media awareness campaigns to educate the public on the importance of sustainability practices. Concrete actions such as tree planting, environmental clean-ups, and coastal ecosystem conservation are also carried out as part of their commitment to environmental preservation and climate change mitigation.
