Continuing its tree-planting efforts from last year at Pantai Sederhana Village, Muara Gembong, Bekasi, where 1,000 trees were planted, Ecobuild Green Building Consultant, in collaboration with Arkadia Works and strategic partner LindungiHutan, has successfully planted mangroves at Kartika Jaya Beach, Kendal.
This area was chosen due to severe coastal erosion, which resulted in the loss of 30 hectares of land in 2009, escalating to 380 hectares by 2014. Additionally, in 2017, storms further damaged the Pulau Tiban tourist site, while Karangmalang Beach experienced significant land loss and tidal flooding.
Through this collaboration and the participation of the local communities, Ecobuild Green Building Consultant, a green building consultant Jakarta, and Arkadia Works highlight the importance of collective action to address erosion, protect settlements from tidal flooding, and foster a greener, more sustainable future. This initiative further emphasizes the role of green building consultants in creating solutions that contribute to environmental preservation and sustainability.
